We are organizing a Special Issue in Nutrients named “Mobile Health and Nutrition (2nd edition)” where you can submit your papers. Please note that extended versions of papers presented during MADiMa2023 will be considered too. The extended version must contain at least 60% new content compared to the workshop version. Our congratulations to Mr. Hsin-Che Chiang and Ms. Lubnaa Abdur Rahman who tied for the “Best Paper Award” with their papers “Memory-Efficient High-Accuracy Food Intake Activity Recognition with 3D mmWave Radars” and “A Comparative Analysis of Sensor-, Geometry-, and Neural-Based Methods for Food Volume Estimation”, respectively. The GoPro HERO 10 was awarded!

We would like to congratulate Shu Naritomi for winning the “Best Paper Award” in the 7th International Workshop on Multimedia Assisted Dietary Management in conjunction with the 30th ACM International Conference on Multimedia on October 10th in Lisbon, Portugal. His paper “Real Scale Hungry Networks: Real Scale 3D Reconstruction of a Dish and a Plate using Implicit Function and a Single RGB-D Image” was awarded with a Garmin Forerunner 245 Music smartwatch!
