Cookpad Inc offers a Student Travel Grant which will be awarded to some (up-to 4 students, max.) of the students with accepted papers in the workshop. The amount offered is 300,000 JPY (~2,279 €) in total. The winners of the grant will each receive:
- 75,000 JPY (~570 €) if traveling from a European country, or
- 150,000 JPY (~1,140 €) if traveling from a non-European country.
Therefore the possible winners of the grant can be:
- 4 students traveling from a European country, or
- 2 students traveling from a European country and 1 student traveling from a non-European country, or
- 2 students traveling from a non-European country.
Eligible for this grant are students that are first authors of an accepted paper. The winners can use the grant to cover for their travel expenses (i.e. flight tickets, local transportation and hotel fees) and the registration fee for the workshop.
As this year the MADiMa2018 workshop will be organized together with the CEA2018 workshop, the selection of the winners will be made by the CEA2018 and the MADiMa2018 organizing committees and Cookpad Inc. after the acceptance decision.
